Beaded Key Chains

Hey guys, I just wanted to show you some key chains that I have been working on. I love all of these key chains, the blue one is my favorite. I made the charms out of beads, and I also used some other charms that I bought at Hobby Lobby. I used jump rings to attach them to the chain, and put two charms for every chain link (some I put more than two). All of the beads I used were glass. These key chains from my experience won't break. Occasionally one or two charms will fall off if you are being too rough with them. But if you think about it that goes for most things. Here are some pictures of them, I hope you enjoy!

Tiny Bird's Nest

Hey everyone, I just wanted to share these cute little bird's nests with you. I created them by threading beads onto the wire and then twisting the wire to look like a little nest. I attached chain and a keyring to the nest and I added a few charms to them also. Aren't they just adorable?
Have a great weekend!!

Happy Mother's Day

Here is the Mother's Day card that I made for my mom. She loved it when I gave it to her. :) I used to Tim Holtz Sizzix die for the bird and bird cage, and K&Co Life's Journey paper. I put tulle in the background and painted and distressed it. I think it turned out really cute. Hope you enjoy :)

Altered Book

Hey everyone! So this is what I've been up to lately. I altered a book that I bought at goodwill. I was inspired by Marion Smith on her live show a while ago. She had altered a book like this one. I tore all of the pages out from the cover. Then I just went to town painting on the cover. After that was done I cut pages of patterned paper to fit inside. I sewed them together and then glued them to the cover. Then I just embellished the front of the book. :) I think it turned out really cute and I can't wait to start putting pictures in it.

Cards

Sorry its been so long since I last posted anything. I've been so busy lately. These are a few I made a week or two ago and I finally took pictures of them. I have a lot of things in mind that I plan on working on when I find the time to. But anyways here are two cards that I made with Greeting Farm images. I think they turned out really pretty and I'm happy with them.

On this card I used cuddle Anya and I colored her with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I don't remember the name of the paper but it is by K&Co. On top of the layered paper I added a layer of glitter tulle. I used pink ribbon, rhinestones, handmade flowers and Prima flowers. I stamped on white shrink film and then cut it out and glued it on. I love this card, I am happy with the way it turned out.

I used geisha Anya on this card and colored her with my prismacolor colored pencils also. I twisted strips of paper to make a vine. Then I added small flowers on the vine. I used glimmer mist and flat back pearls on the flowers. I stamped "just saying hi" on white cardstock and punched it out with a square scallop punch. Then I inked it with a like tan and a green ink. I love the way this card turned out. I think it's my favorite :) Anyways I hope you like them, thanks for stopping by.

Phone Covers

My cousin loved my iPod cover that I made, and she asked me to make her one. We went shopping and picked everything out. She decided on a blue and green one and a purple. I made the blue and green one for her iPod and the purple one for her phone. I love how they both turned out, but the blue and green one is my favorite. :)

Flower Centers

I have been making these cute little flower centers the past few days. I have a bunch of sequins and seed beads laying around. I decided to do something with them, and this is what I came up with. I was inspired by the Prima flower centers. I cut out a one inch circle from felt, then I strung flower rhinestones, sequins and beads onto them. (For the circle rhinestones, I just used hot glue to glue them on the felt.) I think they turned out really cute and I can't wait to make flowers to put them on. Hope you enjoy.

Gizmo

My mom and I aren't the only ones who like to craft. My mom's dog Gizmo loves to get paper out of the garbage in the craft room. He takes it under the table and tears it to pieces, leaving us a big mess to clean up. Haha at least it keeps him busy.

Paper Flowers

Here are some paper flowers that I have been making. They are made out of the brown packaging paper that you get in the mail. I used a 3 inch scallop punch, and punched out seven. Then I sprayed the layers with homemade glimmer mist and scrunched them in to a ball. I used my heat gun to dry the layers for a few minutes. I didn't completely dry them scrunched up, I opened the layers and finished drying them. Then I glued about 3 of the scallops on top of each other with the hot glue gun. The rest of the layers I scrunched the middle of the scallop and glued it on top of the others and I just repeated the process. After the flower was together, I sprayed them again with glimmer mist dried it and then painted the high points of the flower with acrylic paint. To finish the flower off I just added a center. Hope you enjoy :)

iPod Case

I bought some clear iPod cases to bling up. So I made this black, silver and white one. I used charms, old necklaces, and old hair jewels, plus a ton of bling and pearls. I used E6000 glue and just randomly placed them on my iPod cover. I think it turned out cute. I'm planning on making some more soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Rhinestoned sweat pants

Hey everyone, I just want to share my sweat pants that I rhinestoned. I think they turned out really cute. I wear these sweat pants when go to dance competitions. So I thought it would be cool if I put rhinestones on the letters. Right now I only have these three letters done, eventually I will finish the words "senior co." that go down the leg. I didn't have enough to do the rest and I found a website that sells them by the gross (that will save me money). You can go to the website here. I used the swarovski hot fix crystals, and the Jolee's Jewels hot fix tool. It came with 7 different size heads. I love this tool so much, it makes rhinestoning easy. I hope you enjoy. :)

Valentine Swivel Clasp Charm

Hey everyone, I made this swivel clasp charm for Allyson. I joined a swap at Regan's blog and we had partners. The theme was vintage valentine, and the challenge was to add lace some where on the swivel clasp. I added a little jar that I put diamond dust in on it, and a whole bunch of charms that I made. I hope enjoy. Oh! I promised the snow mini album... it is finished and I will be posting pictures in the next few days. :)

"You hold the key to my heart."

Today I have been working on stick pins and charms. They are for a swap that Allyson is doing. She has done a lot of stick pin swaps, but this is the first time I have joined. I'm glad I did. I had so much fun making these today and I think they turned out really cute. There wasn't a theme, so I went with a Valentine's theme. I thought it would be perfect since she is sending them out to everyone Feb 1st. I hope you like them. :)
